This season, Mr. Smith returns to Dayton Opera to conduct The Cook-Off by Shawn Okpebholo and Bon Appétit by Lee Hoiby. He will join the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Music as Assistant Professor, Music Director/Conductor of Opera and Collaborative Pianist. He returns to The Atlanta Opera's conducting staff and as coach of the Glynn Studio Artists.
